Then one day I upgraded my system without upgrading the driver FIRST, that resulted in a devastating mess. It was a fairly quiet and very robust card, I like it a lot - but one slip up and you will be in a world of hurt. Now the HD 7950 is a little less cost, has only one fan which makes it sound louder, that can be a bit annoying if your computer is positioned on the desk. Function wise it is as good as you can get for the price range. This card handles two monitors with ease, check the specs for details. The most important feature is that the drivers are built into the OS, upgrades and replacing components will have no effect on the operation of the card.
